I know exactly how you feel tackling this monster. Some tips if you'd may like to try. * use heaps of lube on the plug and also squirt up your butt, * I found it easier to sit/squat/kneel down on to it when its off the ground as your hips/pelvis are in different position than when lowering yourself onto the ground, * when you begin to insert the plug, with both hands pull your butt cheeks wider apart as this will open your hole more and allows for less drag (remember your butt is designed to eject contents as first priority not accept - haha), * poppers help.
